Crazy Christians never been a great concern of mine. I wasn't much bothered by the last great awakening, the evangelical rise in electoral politics that helped Reagan win in 1980. But nasty bits of business such as a snake like Peter Thiel slithering into positions of great power, worming their way through the core of this rotted republic to ever greater power, that is distressing.
